The American Fundamentals Initiative
Home 1st has created an education program to teach the American people about our history, heritage, the documents we are founded upon, why we became an independent nation, and the other fundamentals that have created the foundation and stable pillars to be the longest lasting nation under one original constitution in the history of the world.
Through churches, faith based private schools, the AOG Initiative, the internet, and home meetings, Home 1st will provide every willing American citizen the tools to become informed on how and why our country was built.
Since the early 1920’s from the Progressive Movement under President Woodrow Wilson, all of our schools learning curriculum were converted over to an economic based secular thinking education process. This is prevalently seen in history textbooks. It is amazing how the current history books only really talk about 2 or 3 founding fathers when there were over 250 of them. The textbooks today like to only point out Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, as these two founding fathers were said to be secular thinking or deists. This is so far from the facts that it becomes baffling as to how or why it is that our schools are able to teach something so inaccurate. A great example of this change to economic and secular based teachings is when discussing the reasons for the Revolutionary War. Only one real topic is mentioned in our history books, and the response you get when asking the average citizen, “Taxation Without Representation”. Most Americans do not even know there were 27 different grievances listed for why we demanded our Independence, and in the Declaration of Independence, Taxation Without Representation was not even in the top ten reasons for why we went to war with England. In fact it was not listed until the 17th grievance. Most American’s do not realize that our founding fathers intent was to have the Bible guide their individual morality and guide the leaders of the country through the everyday decisions made in governing this great country. For nearly 200 years this was understood and followed by our elected officials, yet in the past 50 years this has become a major controversial issue. The Supreme Court has made ruling based on misinformation and documents drafted after the 1920’s for their reasoning to overturn multiple rulings in the past to the contrary.
It is the intent of this American Fundamentals Initiative to educate the American people of the principals this country was founded on so that we are able as one nation to follow the guidelines that our forefathers had envisioned for this country. The information on our founding fathers will also empower the Christian community with the resources needed to come together as one voice to overturn faulty Supreme Court rulings, and bring this nation back to the moral pillars we were created on.
Home 1st is looking for Churches, History Teachers, Lawyers, Private Faith Based Schools and fellow Christians to volunteer to help develop this curriculum and inform others.
